Role Description The Quality Analyst Lead will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts across web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on automation using Appium and WebdriverIO. This full-time remote role includes designing and implementing test strategies, creating and maintaining automated test scripts, and overseeing the execution of test plans to ensure product reliability and performance. The person in this role will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, analyze root causes, and drive continuous improvements in testing practices and overall quality standards.

Daily responsibilities also include mentoring other QA team members, maintaining testing documentation, and contributing to best practices for quality management.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify issues, interpret data, and support decision-making in testing and quality processes.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills to design test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and verify that deliverables meet defined standards.
- Candidates should possess Quality Management skills to develop and refine QA processes, define quality metrics, and ensure consistent application of best practices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings clearly, and provide constructive feedback.
- Hands-on expertise with Appium and WebdriverIO for test automation of web and mobile applications is required.
- Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Background in leading or mentoring QA teams and coordinating testing efforts across multiple projects is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and best practices in automated and manual testing.
