QS & Tendering Manager - Commercial and Residential

Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai

Experience: 15+ Years

Salary: Rs.70,000 - Rs.85,000

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement, including BBS.
- Proficiency in rate analysis for tendering.
- Good understanding of current material and labour market rates.
- Ability to independently source and validate market information relevant to tenders.
- Robust reconciliation skills to verify and substantiate client claims.
- Good communication skills to explain rates, quantities and billing details clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple project billing requirements with accuracy and timelines.

Software Skills:

- AutoCAD
- MS Office




- MS Project – for preparing basic tender schedules

Preferred Industry Background:

- Contracting companies operating on a BOQ-based model & Project Management Consultancy (PMC) companies.

Companies / Backgrounds to Avoid:

- Property Development Companies
- Infrastructure Companies

Interview Process:

- HR interview
- Technical test - To cover quantity take-off, rate analysis, reconciliation and identification of errors in work done / BBS.
- Final interview with MD

Work Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai.
