Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Specialist with extensive experience in performance testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications, particularly focusing on the DA-NFAccessTestAxe project. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze high-level requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and cases.
- Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and design.
- Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a timely manner.
- Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with automation testing tools.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of application development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
