Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Automation and Manual QA Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in frontend (UI) and API testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with experience validating REST APIs using tools like Postman. The candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web applications across different browsers and devices.
- Validate UI functionality, responsiveness, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Perform comprehensive REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Validate API request/response payloads, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and test summary reports.
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
- Support UAT activities and production verification after deployments.

Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong experience in Frontend/UI testing for web applications.
- Hands-on experience in REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, JSON, and API authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Robust knowledge of defect lifecycle and bug tracking tools like Jira.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience writing detailed test cases and test execution reports.
- Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging UI issues.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with API collections and environment management in Postman.
- Basic automation knowledge using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance testing concepts using JMeter or similar tools.
- Experience testing microservices-based applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
