About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at GyanSys Inc. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs that support our clients' digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development, with a strong focus on building robust REST APIs and data pipelines.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance our clients' operational capabilities. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, requiring presence in the office five days a week, and offers a stimulating environment for professional growth and technical excellence.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, demonstrating a strong command of the language and its frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing and supporting REST APIs,



preferably using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining data ingestion and ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Excellent SQL skills, including query optimization, database schema design, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, system integrations, and API design principles.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming platforms like Kafka is a plus.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Python applications and REST APIs to support client requirements.
- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, front-end developers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.




- Implement best practices for code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to recommend enhancements and innovations.
- Document technical specifications, APIs, and workflows for internal and client reference.
