- Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media
- Supporting the senior team members in day-to-day activities
- Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs, for opportunities for clients
- Preparing regular client reports
- Strategizing the quarterly plans/monthly reports
- Researching, writing, and distributing press releases to targeted media
- Promoting news stories and features to the media
- Collating, analyzing, and evaluating media coverage




- Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and making appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation
- Building and maintaining an effective client-agency relationship

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (obviously)
- A social media ninja (must be on top of BFSI trends)
- Good knowledge of contemporary media and its operations
- Solid working knowledge of broad economic trends and news
- Effective influencing, negotiating, and conflict management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
