Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing and a strong proficiency in Playwright, Java and Javascript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify testing requirements and improve the overall testing process.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define testing strategies.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Document test cases, test results,
and defects in a explicit and concise manner.
- Mentor junior QA team members on best practices in automation testing.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Playwright for web application testing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integration of automated tests into the pipeline.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in QA automation.
