Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in OpenText solutions to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions that meet our high-level requirements in customer experience and content management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze high-level requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using OpenText technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to OpenText and software development.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience with OpenText solutions and technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud technologies and deployment.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in customer experience management (CXM) solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant software development experience.
- Certifications in OpenText or related technologies are a plus.
