You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test cases.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Analyze performance test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to ensure performance considerations are addressed.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA team members on performance testing best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in manual testing and test case design.
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with automation testing tools.
- Experience with cloud-based performance testing.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in QA with a focus on performance testing.
- Relevant certifications in QA or performance testing are a plus.
