About the Role

Cane & Clay is looking for a Project Manager – Client Relations who can manage interior projects and act as a key point of communication between clients, designers, vendors and site teams.

We are looking for someone with a basic understanding of interiors and design drawings, along with strong client communication and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate ongoing interior design projects.

Communicate with clients regularly and keep them updated on project progress.

Understand client requirements and coordinate with designers and execution teams.

Take regular updates from designers, vendors, contractors and site teams.

Track project timelines, approvals, pending work and deliverables.

Coordinate client meetings, design discussions, site visits and approvals.

Handle client concerns professionally and coordinate internally for solutions.

Visit project sites and keep track of execution and progress.

Coordinate with vendors for materials, furniture and other project requirements.





Share regular project updates with management.

Be comfortable with domestic and international travel when required.

Take ownership of additional project, client and operational responsibilities when needed.

Skills & Knowledge

Basic understanding of interior design, furniture, materials and site execution.

Ability to understand floor plans, layouts, dimensions and design drawings.

Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Canva.

Robust client communication and presentation skills.

Good project coordination, follow-up and time-management skills.

Comfortable communicating with clients, designers, vendors and contractors.

Organized and capable of handling multiple projects at the same time.

Comfortable with site visits and travelling.

- Flexible and willing to take up different responsibilities when required.

Previous experience in interior design, architecture, furniture, fit-outs, construction, real estate or a related industry will be preferred.

Please note: This is primarily a Project Management & Client Relations role, not a designer position. Basic knowledge of design tools is required to understand the work and coordinate effectively with clients and the design team.
