About Min-ITMin-IT Software builds the lending management platform behind non-bank lenders across Australia. Our products: Min-It LMS and Min-It CRM, handle loan origination, servicing, compliance workflows and payments for lenders who need to move quickly without cutting corners on regulation.

The RoleWe are looking for a Product Designer to own the user experience of the Min-IT platform through the build and launch of our new LMS. This is not surface work. Our users are credit managers, collections officers and compliance staff who live in this software for eight hours a day.

They work with dense data, long workflows, and decisions that carry regulatory consequences. Good design here means someone processes an arrears file in four steps instead of eleven, and does not make a mistake doing it.

What You Will Do

- Design the interfaces for our current lending platform: origination, servicing, collections, payments and compliance workflows
- Map the workflows our users actually follow, and design around them rather than around our database structure
- Produce wireframes, prototypes and production-ready designs in Figma
- Build and own our design system: components, patterns, tokens so the platform stays coherent as it grows
- Design data-dense screens that stay readable: tables, dashboards, loan files, audit trails
- Work directly with developers through implementation, and review what ships against what was designed
- Talk to users and to our client-facing team, and let what you learn change the design
- Design to accessibility standards, and for the browsers and screen sizes our users actually have
- Improve the existing platform where the cost of leaving it is higher than the cost of fixing it

What We Are Looking ForEssential

- 5+ years designing software products,



with at least some of it on complex internal or B2B tools
- A portfolio showing workflow-heavy product work, not just marketing sites and mobile apps. We want to see how you handled complexity, and what the outcome was
- Expert Figma skills, including component libraries and prototyping
- Ability to design data-dense interfaces without them becoming unusable
- Experience working alongside developers through implementation, not handing over and walking away
- Able to work independently, ask good questions, and make decisions without a design team around you

Desirable

- Experience in fintech, lending, banking, insurance or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS, enough to understand what you are asking developers to build
- Experience establishing a design system from scratch
- User research experience, however informal
- Experience designing for both Australian and US markets

What Success Looks LikeFirst month: You understand lending, our users and their workflows well enough to challenge our assumptions about them. First 3 - 6 months: Core workflows for the new platform are designed and validated. The design system is established and in use.
