Job Title: Technical Product Analyst – Informatica

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 6+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Analyst with strong Informatica and Data Integration expertise to support data-driven products and solutions within the Retail and Food & Beverage industries.

The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, data teams, and technology teams, translating business requirements into functional and technical data solutions. The role requires strong knowledge of Informatica/IICS, ETL/ELT, data integration, data quality, SQL, and data warehousing, along with the ability to analyse complex retail and F&B; data.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business and product requirements and translate them into functional and technical data requirements.
- Analyse existing data processes,



data flows, interfaces, and Informatica mappings to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data validation rules, reconciliation logic, and data quality requirements.
- Work closely with business, product, engineering, data engineering, and QA teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Provide functional and technical analysis for Informatica/IICS-based data integration solutions.
- Analyse customer, product, store, sales, inventory, order, supplier, pricing, promotion, and transaction data.
- Support data profiling, data quality assessment, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
- Develop and validate SQL queries for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Review Informatica ETL/ELT workflows and provide recommendations for performance, scalability, and data quality improvements.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping documents, and technical specifications.
- Support SIT/UAT by defining test scenarios, validating data outputs, and resolving data-related issues.
- Identify dependencies, risks, data gaps, and impacts associated with product and data changes.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of experience in Technical Product Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Integration, or Informatica Development.
- Robust hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration, data warehousing, and data pipelines.




- Strong SQL and database skills with Oracle, SQL Server, or similar databases.
- Experience with data profiling, data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data quality.
- Experience analysing customer, product, store, sales, order, inventory, supplier, pricing, promotion, and transaction data.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data requirements, transformation rules, source-to-target mappings, and technical specifications.
- Experience analysing existing data models, ETL workflows, interfaces, and data lineage.
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and basic automation.
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data lineage concepts.
- Experience working with cross-functional Business, Product, Data Engineering, QA, and Technology teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), or Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Knowledge of API, REST, JSON, XML, and system integrations.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data cataloguing, and data lineage.
- Experience defining and managing product data requirements and data quality KPIs.
- Retail/F&B; experience across areas such as e-commerce, point-of-sale (POS), store operations, inventory, supply chain, merchandising, loyalty, promotions, pricing, orders, and customer analytics.
