Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Problem Management Specialist role based in Bengaluru.
The Problem Management
Specialist will be responsible for identifying recurring issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing permanent resolutions to minimize service disruptions. The role involves collaborating with incident management and technical support teams, reviewing trends and service reports, and maintaining problem records and knowledge articles. The specialist will work closely with IT service management stakeholders to improve processes, reduce incident volume, and enhance overall service reliability and performance.
The position requires regular coordination with cross-functional teams, clear communication of problem status and action plans, and adherence to established service management frameworks and compliance standards.
Required Skills· 2–4 years of experience in Problem Management, Production Support, or Application Support.
· Experience supporting Retail applications such as POS, Order Management (OMS), Inventory Management, Merchandising, or E-commerce platforms.
· Robust understanding of ITIL Incident and Problem Management processes.
· Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, and IAM.
· Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.
· Experience with Shell/Bash or Python scripting for automation.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills· Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Logzio
· Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
· Knowledge of Retail business processes including order fulfillment, inventory management, pricing, promotions, and store operations.
- · ITIL Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
- Must be flexible to work in a 24x7 production support environment, including rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business requirements.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support and provide assistance during major incidents or critical production issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to high-priority production incidents while meeting SLA commitments.
