Role Description The Principal Officer – PMS (Portfolio Management Services) will oversee the end-to-end operations and compliance of the PMS business, ensuring alignment with SEBI regulations and internal risk frameworks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising portfolio construction and review, monitoring performance and risk metrics, and ensuring timely reporting and disclosures to clients and regulators.

The role involves coordinating with investment, operations, legal, and compliance teams, reviewing and updating PMS policies and processes, and handling audits and regulatory inspections.

Officer will also contribute to product development, support client presentations, and maintain strong governance standards across all PMS activities.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of portfolio management, capital markets, and investment products, with the ability to oversee PMS strategies and performance.
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and familiarity with SEBI regulations related to PMS.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and portfolio analytics.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities to work cross-functionally and lead teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage documentation, reporting, and audits.
- Relevant professional qualification such as MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent, along with prior experience in PMS, wealth management, or asset management.
- Comfort with using technology-driven platforms, portfolio management tools, and MS Office applications.
