Experience: 2–3 years in Freight Forwarding

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Air & Ocean Import/Export pricing.
- Obtain competitive rates from Shipping Lines, Airlines, NVOCCs, Co-loaders and overseas agents.
- Prepare and send customer quotations within agreed TAT.
- Calculate freight, origin/destination charges, CFS, documentation, transport, surcharges, GST and profit margins.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors.
- Maintain updated freight rate sheets and tariff database.
- Handle customer RFQs and tender enquiries.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure quotations are commercially and operationally feasible.
- Provide alternative routing/carrier options when required.
- Monitor market rates and competitor pricing.




- Track quotation status and follow up with Sales for business conversion.
- Ensure proper handover of confirmed shipments to Operations.
- Prepare weekly/monthly pricing and quotation reports.
- Maintain good relationships with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and vendors.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Freight Forwarding – Air & Sea.
- Knowledge of FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Import & Export.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, CBM, chargeable weight and container types.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Positive communication and email drafting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide quick quotations.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years in freight forwarding pricing/commercial department.
- Candidates with strong Shipping Line / Airline / NVOCC rate negotiation experience preferred.
