Role Description This is a full-time, in office Power System Engineer role based in Aligarh. The role involves performing power system studies, analyzing system performance, and supporting planning and operation of transmission and distribution networks. Daily tasks include evaluating load flow, fault levels, and stability, coordinating with operations teams on grid reliability, and recommending system upgrades or configurations.

The Power System

Engineer will assist in integrating new power generation sources,



monitoring electric power quality, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also includes preparing technical reports, supporting project implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering with practical understanding of Power Systems.
- Ability to conduct and interpret Power System Studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and stability analyses.
- Experience or academic background in Power Generation and Electric Power transmission and distribution.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools and software (e.g., ETAP, PSSE, or similar) is advantageous.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with engineering, operations, and field staff.
- Prior experience in utility, grid operations, or large industrial power systems is beneficial.
