Role Description The Poultry Technical Head is a full-time, on-site role based in India, responsible for leading technical strategies and support for poultry nutrition and health solutions. This role oversees the development, evaluation, and implementation of feeding programs, health protocols, and performance-improvement initiatives for poultry customers and partners. Day-to-day tasks include providing field and remote technical support, conducting farm visits and audits, analyzing production and health data, and recommending evidence-based interventions.

Head collaborates closely with sales, R&D;, and product development teams to design and refine solutions, delivers technical training and presentations to internal teams and customers, and ensures alignment with regulatory and quality standards.
The role also involves staying current with industry research and trends to continuously improve Tectron’s poultry offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in poultry nutrition, feed formulation, and poultry production systems, with the ability to design and optimize feeding and management programs.
- Sound knowledge of poultry health, biosecurity, disease prevention, and welfare standards, including practical experience implementing health protocols on farms.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring, including interpreting production metrics, health records, and trial results to develop actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication and training skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to varied audiences and supporting sales teams with technical insights.
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management abilities, including coordinating cross-functional projects and guiding technical teams or field staff.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Poultry Science, or a related discipline; advanced specialization in poultry is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in commercial poultry operations, feed companies, animal health firms, or technical consulting within the poultry sector.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, quality assurance processes, and industry standards related to poultry production and animal nutrition.
- Willingness to travel regularly within India for farm visits, customer meetings, and technical trainings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment and to adapt to evolving industry practices and technologies.
