Role DescriptionWe are looking for a PLC & HMI Developer – Industrial Automation | Medical Equipment to join our R&D; and manufacturing team in Surat.

The person will be responsible for developing and maintaining the PLC, HMI and control logic used in our motorized physiotherapy and chiropractic equipment.

This is a hands-on role involving both software and hardware. You will work directly with PLCs, HMIs, electric actuators, lifting columns, motors, sensors, limit switches and other control components.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and program PLC control logic for motorized medical equipment.
- Develop and configure HMI screens and user interfaces.
- Control and coordinate multiple linear actuators and lifting columns.
- Integrate limit switches, proximity sensors, encoders and position sensors.
- Develop movement sequences, operating modes, interlocks and safety logic.
- Configure communication between PLC, HMI, sensors,



drives and other electronic components.
- Troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI systems, sensors, actuators and control-related issues.
- Test and commission new control systems on prototypes and production equipment.
- Modify and improve existing PLC/HMI programs based on product requirements.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and R&D; teams during product development.
- Support production and service teams with automation-related troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper documentation of PLC programs, I/O configuration, HMI screens and control logic.
- Participate in development and testing of new products and features.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation or a related field.
- Practical experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
- Valuable understanding of ladder logic, function blocks and/or structured text.
- Experience with motors, linear actuators, lifting columns and sensors.
- Good understanding of digital/analog I/O and control systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of PLC-HMI communication and protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485 or Ethernet.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




- Willingness to work hands-on with prototypes, machines and production equipment.

- Siemens PLC / HMI
- Delta PLC / HMI
- Mitsubishi PLC / HMI
- Schneider PLC / HMI
- Omron PLC / HMI
- Modbus RTU / TCP
- RS-485 / Ethernet
- Servo / Stepper / Motor control
- Linear actuators and electric lifting columns
- Encoders and position feedback
- Safety sensors and interlock systems

Experience1–4 years of relevant experience in PLC programming, HMI development, industrial automation, machine automation or motion control. Freshers with strong practical PLC/HMI knowledge and relevant project experience may also be considered.

What You'll Work OnYou will work on the actual control systems of our motorized physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment tables.

PLC → HMI → Actuators / Lifting Columns → Sensors → Position Feedback → Safety & Control Logic

You will be involved in the complete development cycle — from understanding product requirements and writing PLC logic to HMI development, prototype testing, troubleshooting and production implementation.
