PROTEC is seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager for Mechanical Maintenance to lead our manufacturing operations in Chhapra, Rajkot. The successful candidate will develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure high equipment availability and drive reliability excellence.
Key responsibilities include managing preventive and predictive maintenance, controlling maintenance costs, and implementing TPM and 5S best practices. You will lead and mentor a technical team while overseeing HT equipment, plant machinery, and infrastructure utilities. Additionally, the role involves managing budgets, spares inventory, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and statutory regulations.B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 15 to 20 years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry Expertise in HT Furnaces, Machines, and Utilities Robust knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Lubrication Systems Proficiency in CMMS or SAP Maintenance Modules Proven track record in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Improvement Extensive experience in Spares Management and Cost Control Ability to manage vendor and AMC contracts effectively
