Role Description The Planning Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India.

The Planning

Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate production planning, and monitor progress against timelines and milestones for infrastructure and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project data, preparing reports, supporting project controls, and collaborating with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to optimize resource allocation and workflow.



The role also involves identifying risks and deviations, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The Planning

Engineer will participate in regular review meetings and communicate status updates to stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop, manage, and optimize project and production schedules.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to track performance, analyze variances, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and present updates to stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in infrastructure, construction, or railway projects, with familiarity in scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of project management principles, safety standards, and quality control processes will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Madhya Pradesh and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project setting.
