About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – Software to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance PHP applications that are scalable, secure, and efficient. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and UI/UX designers to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, database management, and performance optimization techniques. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a proven track record of working on large-scale or data-intensive applications.



A strong foundation in core PHP and object-oriented programming principles is essential. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and database schema design.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are mandatory. Familiarity with API integration and server-side deployment processes is also required.

Experience with version control systems like Git, and knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer – Software, your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable PHP applications aligned with the company’s coding standards and best practices. You will be responsible for implementing modular, reusable, and maintainable code using strong object-oriented principles.

Your role will involve developing and optimizing server-side logic, stored procedures, triggers, and database operations to ensure high performance and reliability. You will analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across UI, database, and API layers. Ensuring adherence to coding standards and architecture guidelines is crucial,



along with participating in code reviews and collaborating with QA teams.

You will take ownership of projects from requirement analysis through to production support, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, performance tuning, and documentation of technical specifications.
