About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – Software to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. This full-time position requires a professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development, particularly with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, database management, and performance optimization. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our high-performance applications.

Your expertise will ensure that our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, product management, and other developers, to deliver robust software solutions that meet business objectives.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core PHP development.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and database design.
- Experience working with large-scale or data-intensive applications.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of API integration, server-side deployment, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.





Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications in accordance with internal coding standards and best practices.
- Implement modular, reusable, and maintainable code using robust object-oriented programming principles.
- Develop and optimize server-side logic, stored procedures, triggers, and database operations to enhance application performance.
- Design and optimize SQL Server queries, indexes, and database structures to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze application performance bottlenecks across UI, database, and API layers and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, collaborate with QA teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of tasks from requirement analysis through to production deployment and ongoing support.
