Role Description The PGT Biology educator will plan and deliver senior secondary Biology lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum standards, ensuring conceptual clarity and exam readiness for learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom teaching, organizing and supervising laboratory practicals, assessing student performance through tests and assignments, and providing academic guidance and mentoring. The role involves maintaining accurate academic records, participating in faculty meetings, contributing to co-curricular activities,



and supporting school initiatives related to science education and career counseling.

The educator is expected to collaborate with colleagues, engage with parents when needed, and uphold school policies on discipline and values. This is a full-time, on-site role based at MMPS in Bagh.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, with exposure to Microbiology and related life sciences.
- Proficiency in laboratory skills, including safe handling of equipment, conducting practical experiments, and demonstrating scientific procedures.
- Ability to conduct academic research for lesson enrichment, project work, and updated teaching resources.
- Effective communication skills for classroom teaching, student mentoring, collaboration with colleagues, and interaction with parents.
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or a related discipline, with B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Biology at senior secondary / PGT level, ideally in a CBSE environment.
- Competence in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment techniques.
- Comfort with using basic educational technology and digital resources to support teaching-learning processes.
