Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and execute end-to-end payroll activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee benefits, HR/payroll systems, and HR tools and software. The candidate must possess positive communication and analytical skills and ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
Key Responsibilities· Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for employees.
· Collect, verify, and process payroll-related inputs such as attendance, leaves, incentives, reimbursements, bonuses, deductions, and other variable pay components.
· Ensure accurate and timely salary processing and salary disbursement.
· Maintain payroll records and employee data in HRMS/payroll systems.
· Handle payroll-related queries and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.
· Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders for payroll inputs and reconciliation.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, LWF, and other applicable regulations.
· Support payroll audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.
· Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and reconciliations as required.
· Manage employee joining, exit, and full-and-final settlement-related payroll activities.
· Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and payroll information.
· Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and labour laws.
HR Tools and SoftwareThe candidate should have hands-on experience with HRMS, payroll tools, and related software such as:

Required Skills and Qualifications· 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll operations.
· Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software/tools.
· Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing.
· Knowledge of statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
· Good understanding of HR policies, employee benefits, and compensation structures.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation information with discretion.
· Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.
Preferred Skills· Experience working with multiple HRMS or payroll platforms.
· Experience handling payroll for a large employee base.
· Knowledge of payroll automation and process improvement.
· Experience with HR analytics and reporting.
