About the Role

Techmentry is looking for passionate, student-centered educators to deliver high-impact, trend-aligned online lessons across Mathematics, General & Advanced Science, and AP Computer Science. In this role, you will adapt instruction across diverse curricula and age groups, helping learners build foundational understanding, computational thinking, and advanced exam mastery.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver live, interactive 1:1 or small-group online lessons to students aged 7 through Grade 12.
- Teach foundational through advanced concepts across one or more subject tracks:
- ⚬ Mathematics: Primary numeracy, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus/Statistics.
- ⚬ Science: Primary Science, Middle School Integrated Science, and High School Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- ⚬ AP Computer Science: AP CS A (Java) and AP CS Principles (Python/computational logic, algorithms, and data representation).
- Adapt lesson plans and pacing to match international and national curricula (e.g., US Common Core/AP, IB, Cambridge/IGCSE, CBSE/ICSE).
- Track student progress, provide qualitative feedback after sessions,



and communicate updates clearly to parents.
- Foster an engaging learning environment using digital whiteboards, coding sandboxes, and modern pedagogical tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing an advanced degree) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Education, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring K-12 students (online tutoring experience preferred).
- Strong familiarity with at least one major curriculum framework (AP, IB, Cambridge/IGCSE, or national boards).
- For Computer Science specialists: Proficiency in Java, Python, and core AP CS exam frameworks.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify abstract technical concepts for younger learners.
- A stable high-speed internet connection, functional webcam, explicit microphone, and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
