About the Role

PlayShifu is looking for a Packaging Procurement Executive to support the sourcing and procurement of packaging materials across our AR-powered toy portfolio. You'll work closely with Packaging Development, Product, Operations, Quality, Finance, and suppliers — helping ensure the right packaging is sourced at the right cost, quality, and lead time. Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end procurement of packaging materials — folding cartons, master cartons, labels, bags, sleeves, trays, inserts, partitions, hangtags, and other printed packaging.
- Float RFQs, collect quotations, and prepare cost comparisons and supplier evaluation sheets.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, MOQ, and lead times with suppliers, under guidance from senior procurement team members.
- Develop and maintain KLDs (Key Line Drawings) for folding cartons, trays, inserts, partitions, sleeves, bags, hangtags, shippers, and other packaging formats.
- Prepare and maintain packaging specifications, BOMs, dimensions, material specifications, and KLD revisions.
- Coordinate samples, mock-ups, trials, and approvals with Packaging Development and Quality teams.
- Convert approved requirements into POs and follow up on supplier acknowledgement and production schedules.
- Track open POs, production, and dispatch timelines to ensure on-time availability of packaging materials.
- Liaise with suppliers to flag and help resolve quality, delivery,



or specification-related issues.
- Maintain packaging cost sheets, price masters, supplier databases, and procurement trackers.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations for GRN, invoice, and PO closure.
- Assist senior team members in identifying new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

What We're Looking For

- 1–2 years of experience in packaging procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or packaging development.
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Packaging Technology / Packaging Engineering / Packaging Science.
- Working knowledge of paperboard, corrugated, versatile packaging, labels, and printing processes.
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for costing and commercial data.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail — comfortable managing multiple SKUs, suppliers, and timelines.
- Ability to read and prepare packaging specifications, BOMs, and technical drawings/dielines (KLDs) is required.
- Prior exposure to toys, consumer products, FMCG, D2C, or retail packaging is a plus, not required.

- You'll start by owning the day-to-day execution of packaging procurement — RFQs, PO tracking, KLD preparation, sample coordination, and vendor follow-ups — while working closely with senior team members on supplier negotiations and sourcing strategy. As you grow in the role, you'll take on greater ownership of supplier relationships, cost optimization initiatives, and vendor development.
