Role Description The Ostomy Care Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for delivering specialized, patient-centered ostomy care. This role includes assessing stoma sites, fitting and recommending appropriate ostomy products, and educating patients and caregivers on daily stoma management, hygiene, and lifestyle adjustments. The nurse will provide ongoing follow-up care, monitor skin integrity, manage complications, and document clinical observations accurately.

Day-to-day tasks also involve collaborating with physicians and care teams, supporting product trials and feedback,



conducting patient training sessions, and contributing to educational materials and community outreach related to ostomy care.

Qualifications

- Clinical nursing skills in wound, ostomy, and continence care, including stoma assessment, appliance fitting, and complication management.
- Patient education and counseling skills to guide individuals and caregivers on self-care, hygiene, and lifestyle adaptation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust, provide empathetic support, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational and documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient records, care plans, and follow-up schedules.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification with valid registration; certification or training in ostomy or wound care is highly preferred.
- Experience in surgical, gastrointestinal, or wound care settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Proficiency in basic computer use and electronic medical records is beneficial.
