Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Functional Consultant to provide functional expertise and advisory support across Oracle Supply Chain processes and modules.

These roles are primarily advisory in nature. The consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, providing functional guidance, reviewing existing processes, identifying gaps, and recommending appropriate Oracle Supply Chain solutions.

No system implementation, configuration, customization, or development work is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional advisory and subject matter expertise across Oracle Supply Chain processes.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate Oracle Supply Chain recommendations.
- Review existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Advise business and functional teams on Oracle Supply Chain best practices and standard functionality.
- Support discussions around supply chain processes, workflows, and business scenarios.
- Analyze functional requirements and provide recommendations based on Oracle capabilities.
- Participate in workshops and discussions with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide solutions.
- Review existing Oracle Supply Chain processes and provide guidance on optimization and process improvements.
- Assist in evaluating different approaches and recommend the most suitable functional solution.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, requirement analysis, and advisory recommendations as required.




- Work closely with business stakeholders and other functional SMEs to ensure alignment between business needs and Oracle Supply Chain capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong functional experience in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Valuable understanding of Oracle Supply Chain business processes and functional capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Oracle SCM modules such as:
- Inventory Management
- Procurement
- Order Management
- Purchasing
- Product Management
- Supply Planning
- Manufacturing
- Cost Management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and providing functional recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex Oracle Supply Chain concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM is preferred.
- Experience working as an Oracle SCM Functional SME, Consultant, or Advisor.
- Experience in process assessment, gap analysis, and functional advisory engagements.
- Strong understanding of Oracle standard functionality and Supply Chain best practices.

Important Role Clarification This is a functional advisory / SME role.

The candidate should NOT be primarily an Oracle developer or implementation consultant.

The role does not involve:

- System development
- Custom application development
- Coding
- Technical implementation
- Oracle configuration as the primary responsibility
- End-to-end system implementation

The focus is on functional expertise, business process understanding, advisory, gap analysis, and recommending Oracle Supply Chain solutions.
