ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW

Thought Logic Consulting is engaging an independent contractor to lead the end-to-end development of new inbound integrations into Oracle Fusion Cloud General Ledger (GL) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The contractor will own each integration from requirements definition through production cutover, working directly with client finance and IT stakeholders across a defined set of source systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Requirements Development. Partner with finance and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for each new inbound integration to Oracle Fusion GL.

2. Technical Development. Design and build the integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including source connectivity, data mapping, transformation logic, and orchestration into Fusion GL.

3. Error Handling. Develop exception handling, logging, and alerting routines so integration failures are caught, communicated, and resolved before they affect the ledger.

4. Automation. Build scheduling and automated execution for recurring integration runs, minimizing manual intervention and touchpoints.

5. Testing. Plan and conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing directly with end users, including test scripts, defect triage, and formal sign-off.

6. Change Management. Execute all change management and deployment procedures required to promote integrations from lower environments into production, including documentation, approvals, and coordination with client change control.





INTEGRATION SCOPE: INBOUND SOURCES

Initial scope covers new inbound integrations to Oracle Fusion GL from the following sources:

· Concur (travel and expense data)

· B-line

· General Statistics (non-financial statistical data supporting allocations and reporting)

Scope may expand to additional inbound sources as the integration roadmap evolves.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Hands-on experience building integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP adapters, file-based adapters, and orchestration.

· Experience integrating to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically General Ledger (GL), using standard inbound methods such as File-Based Data Import (FBDI), GL Interface tables, or ERP Integration Service.

· Experience designing and implementing error handling, logging, and alerting frameworks within OIC.

· Experience building automated, scheduled integration processes.

· Experience planning and facilitating structured testing cycles (unit, system, and user acceptance testing) directly with business end users.

· Experience executing formal change management and production deployment procedures in an enterprise ERP environment.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with finance stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.

HIGHLY PREF QUALIFICATIONS

· Prior experience integrating Concur into Oracle Fusion GL.

· Broader Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation or support experience.

· Familiarity with Oracle Fusion GL chart of accounts, journal structures, and period close processes.
