Role Description The Operation Engineer is a full-time, in office role based at the Aegis Vopak terminal in Gandhidham. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling terminal operations, including storage, transfer, and handling of products to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant processes. Day-to-day tasks include supervising loading and unloading activities, coordinating with internal teams and customers, performing routine checks on equipment and systems, and logging operational data.

The Operation

Engineer will support incident troubleshooting, assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities,



and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, supporting audits and inspections, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth terminal operations.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting process and equipment issues, with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
- Customer service mindset to coordinate effectively with clients, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments for using terminal control systems, reporting tools, and operational software.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Experience in terminal operations, oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industrial environments is preferred.
- Understanding of safety, health, environment (SHE) standards and regulatory compliance in industrial operations.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shifts as per operational requirements.
