The post-holder’s responsibilities will be to provide an efficient and effective PA support service to the Occupational Health & Safety Service.

Responsibilities include PA duties/diary management to the Head of Occupational Health and Head of Health & Safety, supporting systems, training and contributing to the smooth administration of the department. Linking with the wider NHS organisation and non NHS organisations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Prioritising workload and working to tight timescales, balancing conflicting demands to maintain efficiency throughout the team are key skills.

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’.
