Role Description This is a full-time, on-site New Product Development Manager role based in Jaipur.

The Current Product Development

Manager will lead end-to-end development of new organic food products, from concept generation and feasibility studies to pilot trials and commercialization.

Responsibilities include conducting market and consumer research, collaborating with food technologists and R&D; teams, and ensuring products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The role will coordinate cross-functional project activities, manage timelines and resources, and work closely with sourcing, production, packaging,



and marketing teams to deliver innovative products aligned with Samasta Foods’ brand and client requirements. The manager will also monitor product performance, implement improvements, and contribute to continuous innovation within the certified organic food portfolio.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Research and Development (R&D;) with experience in new product formulation and innovation in food or related sectors.
- Expertise in Food Technology and Food Science, including knowledge of organic food processing, nutrition, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and track multiple development projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Practical experience in the Food Industry, preferably in organic or health-focused products, and familiarity with private label or contract manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Hands-on experience with product trials, shelf-life studies, and quality control procedures is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur and be actively involved in production, testing, and packaging activities.
