About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead .NET Backend Developer to join our agile team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs that form the backbone of our clients' digital solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices architectures, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET 6/8+, and cloud-native development, with a passion for implementing cutting-edge solutions and adopting the latest AI and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Expertise in C# programming, particularly with .NET 6 and above, in production environments.
- Deep understanding of Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture patterns.
- Proven experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and Webhooks.
- Strong knowledge of data formats including JSON, XML,



Protocol Buffers, and flat files.
- Solid grasp of software design principles such as SOLID, CQRS, and Clean Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud integration platforms like Azure Logic Apps, AWS Lambda, or equivalent API Gateway solutions.
- Experience with message-broker solutions such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for asynchronous communication.
- Proficiency in building secure applications using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and implementing end-to-end encryption.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Exposure to AI technologies like Microsoft Copilot, Amazon Q, or other AI tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and own scalable RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, from initial specification to deployment and maintenance.
- Implement event-driven architecture by integrating message-broker solutions such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka to facilitate asynchronous, decoupled communication between microservices.
- Write high-performance querying logic using C# and LINQ, handling complex data formats like JSON and XML across distributed services.
- Build and maintain clean, efficient data access layers utilizing Entity Framework Core with SQL Server databases.
- Implement robust security measures including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API Gateway policies to ensure secure data exchange and access control.




- Automate software delivery processes by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools and technologies, enhancing system capabilities and automation.
- Stay updated with emerging AI and cloud technologies, applying innovative solutions to improve existing systems and workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to best practices in software development.
