Support mission design for the LEO satellite constellation. The role supports constellation and orbit design, mission analysis and simulation, and space situational awareness (SSA) studies, as part of the mission-design team.
Job Responsibilities:
Constellation Design & Mission Analysis
- Support constellation and orbit design, including coverage, revisit, phasing, and geometry analysis.
- Perform mission analysis such as eclipse, visibility, and link geometry, under guidance.
- Use and help maintain mission-analysis and simulation tools (for example, STK, MATLAB, or Python).
Simulation & SSA Support
- Run mission simulations and document results.
- Support space situational awareness (SSA) studies,
including basic conjunction awareness and debris-workplace characterization.
- Prepare analysis notes and documentation, and support design reviews.
Job Deliverables:
- Constellation and orbit design and mission analysis supported (coverage, revisit, geometry, eclipse, visibility).
- Mission simulations and SSA studies supported and documented.
- Analysis notes and documentation prepared and maintained.
Education Qualifications: BE or BTech in Aerospace, Electronics, ME or MTech desirable.
