About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance In-charge to take full ownership of vehicle fleet maintenance at our Tallaipalli, Gharghoda site. The candidate will lead a team of mechanical and electrical mistris (support staff) to ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy, secure, and available for operations at all times, with minimal downtime.

This is a hands-on leadership role — the ideal candidate combines robust technical knowledge of vehicles with the ability to plan, supervise, and get work done through a support team.

Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of preventive and breakdown maintenance for all site vehicles - tata tippers
Plan and supervise daily maintenance schedules
Lead, guide,



and coordinate mechanical and electrical mistris for repairs, servicing, and overhauls
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and guide the team toward quick, accurate resolution
Ensure timely servicing as per manufacturer schedules (engine, brakes, transmission, tyres, electricals, AC, etc.)
Maintain spare parts inventory, raise indents, and coordinate with stores/procurement to avoid downtime due to part unavailability
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service history, and vehicle log books/MIS reports
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory vehicle fitness, insurance, and documentation requirements
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and flag anomalies
Coordinate with drivers/operators to track vehicle condition and address issues proactively
Liaise with external vendors/workshops for jobs beyond in-house capability
