Location: Thane
Experience: 3–6 years
Employment: Full time
Industry: Menswear / Fashion / D2C
About the Role
We are looking for a Sourcing & Production Merchandiser who can operate equally well in the market and in the system.
This is a highly hands-on, field-oriented role for someone who understands menswear sourcing, production, vendors, fabrics, costing and timelines — but is also comfortable using technology and software to maintain accurate, real-time information.
We are looking for someone who can build the vendor ecosystem from the ground up, not simply manage an existing vendor list.
From Day 1, the person should be capable of:
Finding the right vendors → Building relationships → Getting vendors onboarded → Negotiating commercials → Developing products → Managing production → Solving issues → Maintaining vendor relationships → Keeping all information updated digitally.
The ideal candidate will have robust industry connections, excellent communication skills,
commercial understanding and the confidence to deal directly with factories, fabric suppliers, job workers and other production partners.
