Role Description The Design Engineer (Part-time) role at DECG INTERNATIONAL is an in office position based in Bhopal. In this role, the Design Engineer will develop and refine designs for bridge bearings, expansion joints, seismic systems, and related products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams,



and supporting product design improvements for manufacturing and installation efficiency.

The engineer will participate in design reviews, assist in resolving technical issues during production and installation, and document design changes and engineering calculations. This part-time position requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for infrastructure and heavy fabrication projects.
- Candidates should possess mechanical domain skills, including Mechanical Engineering and familiarity with structural or industrial components.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed models, drawings, and design documentation.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering relevant to integrated mechanical-electrical systems.
- Relevant skills such as understanding of industry standards and codes, material selection, and basic stress/structural analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in bridge components, heavy fabrication, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
