Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Delhi, India.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will develop and refine mechanical designs for shading, facade, and automation products, ensuring structural integrity, durability, and ease of installation. Daily tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, selecting materials and components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, and installation. The role involves preparing technical documentation, supporting prototyping and testing, resolving design issues from the field,



and contributing to continuous product improvement.

The engineer is expected to follow relevant standards, maintain clear project documentation, and meet timelines for new product development and customization requests.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to architectural and automation products.
- Experience in Machine Design and Product Design, including mechanisms, structural elements, and hardware integration for building-related systems.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and basic structural analysis relevant to aluminium structures, facades, and mechanical assemblies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and client requirements, and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with construction or architectural industry practices is an advantage.
