Eligible MD Specializations: Candidate should have MD/MS in any of the following Ayurveda subjects:
Bala Roga – Pediatrics
Dravya Guna – Materia Medica & Pharmacology
Kayachikitsa – Internal Medicine
Maulik Siddhanta – Fundamental Principles
Panchakarma – Penta Bio-Purification Methods
Prasuti & Stri Roga – Gynaecology & Obstetrics
Roga & Vikriti Vigyan – Clinical Medicine & Pathology
Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana – Iatro-Chemistry / Rasa Chikitsa
Sharir Rachana – Anatomy
Sharir Kriya – Physiology
Shalya Tantra – Surgery
Shalakya Tantra – ENT & Eye
Swastha Vritta – Preventive & Social Medicine
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient consultations and clinical assessments using Ayurvedic principles.
- Take a comprehensive patient history, assess symptoms and clinical conditions, and
Develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage patients according to the doctor's area of specialization and applicable clinical protocols.
- Prescribe appropriate Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, Panchakarma procedures, diet and lifestyle modifications. 5. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response.
- Explain diagnosis, treatment procedures, medicines, therapies,
and expected outcomes to patients and attendants.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, case sheets and follow-up documentation.
- Coordinate with Panchakarma therapists, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
- Ensure proper implementation of clinical protocols, hygiene, and patient safety standards.
- Handle OPD/IPD consultations and follow-ups as assigned.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ensure ethical and professional medical practices while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Support health camps, awareness programs, and patient education initiatives when required.
- Stay updated with developments in Ayurveda, clinical practices, and relevant treatment protocols.
- Promote a patient-centric approach and maintain high standards of service and patient satisfaction.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment principles
Positive clinical and analytical skills
Excellent patient counselling and communication skills
Knowledge of Ayurvedic medicines and therapies
Ability to handle OPD/IPD patients
Eligibility
MD/MS Ayurveda in any of the listed specializations.
Valid registration with the applicable State/Central Ayurveda medical registration authority, as required.
Freshers with relevant MD qualifications may also be considered.
Prior experience in Ayurveda hospitals/clinics will be an added advantage.
