Role Description The Maths Teacher will provide online mathematics instruction to students, focusing on concept clarity, problem-solving skills, and exam readiness. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, delivering live virtual classes, assigning and reviewing practice work, and offering individualized feedback to support student progress.



The teacher will collaborate with EdifyChamps to align lessons with learning goals and may communicate with parents or guardians about student performance as needed.

This is a part-time, remote role that requires reliable internet access and comfort using online teaching platforms.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Status as a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching credentials
- Prior experience in online or classroom teaching, especially with school-age learners
- Explicit, patient communication skills and an ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Comfort with digital tools and virtual classroom technologies
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to diverse learning styles
