Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Compliance who will be responsible for managing statutory compliances, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting practices. The role requires robust expertise in GST, Statutory Regulations, Balance Sheet preparation, and Tally accounting software, along with the ability to maintain financial discipline and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants and Government authorities for compliance matters.
Maintain records and documentation required for statutory audits and assessments.
Accounting & Financial Management
Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial statements.
GST Management
E-Invoicing
Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
Reconciliation of GST data with books of accounts.
Ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) tracking and compliance.
Balance Sheet & Financial Reporting
Assist in balance sheet finalization and financial statement preparation.
Conduct periodic bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
Support management with financial analysis and reports.
Audit & Documentation
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
Ensure all financial records are properly documented and audit-ready.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
2–3 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
Solid knowledge of GST regulations and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tall
