Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Retina Consultant to join our Retina Services team. The ideal candidate should have robust diagnostic and surgical expertise in managing retinal disorders and a commitment to delivering comprehensive and empathetic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, , retinal detachment, etc.
Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, , and retinal laser treatments.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools like OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography for clinical evaluations.
Collaborate with general ophthalmologists and sub-specialists for holistic patient management.




Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical cases and patient records.
Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and ongoing medical education programs.
Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative follow-up.

Qualifications:
MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology
Fellowship in Medical and/or Surgical Retina from a recognized institute
Valid medical license (as per local/state regulatory requirements)

Desired Skills:
Solid clinical and surgical skills in the diagnosis and management of retinal conditions
Excellent communication and patient Counseling abilities
Team-oriented approach and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty setting
Familiarity with EMR systems and up-to-date ophthalmic technologies
