Job Description – Account Executive

Position: Account Executive
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹40,000 per month, based on skills and experience
Experience: 1–5+ years preferred
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, invoicing, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of GST, ITR, TDS, Advanced Tally, invoicing, and payroll/salary processing.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial records.
Handle Tally ERP/Tally Prime and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
Manage GST returns, reconciliation, and related compliance.
Assist with Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.
Handle TDS calculation, deductions, returns, and compliance.
Process monthly salary/payroll and maintain employee salary records.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.




Prepare reports and statements as required by management.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and clients when required.
Ensure accounting records and statutory filings are accurate and completed on time.

Required Skills & Experience
Solid working knowledge of Tally Prime / Advanced Tally.
Practical experience in GST and GST returns.
Knowledge of ITR preparation and filing.
Valuable understanding of TDS and TDS returns.
Experience in invoicing and billing.
Knowledge of salary/payroll processing.
Positive understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple accounting and compliance activities independently.

Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
Relevant accounting experience will be considered.
