Role Description The Manufacturing Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in pipodara. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing financial activities related to manufacturing operations, including tracking production costs, preparing cost sheets, and monitoring inventory valuation.

The Manufacturing

Accountant will record and reconcile daily transactions, support monthly and annual closing, and ensure accurate reporting of material, labor, and overhead costs. The role includes preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and working closely with production and procurement teams to maintain cost efficiency and compliance with internal controls.



The individual will also support audits, maintain documentation, and contribute to improving financial and operational processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting in manufacturing, including production costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including working with ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Understanding of standard accounting principles, financial statements, and basic taxation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to gather data and validate cost information.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly to management.
- Ability to work on-site in Pipodara Taluka, manage deadlines, and maintain organized records in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CA Inter) are an advantage.
