- Expertise in high-speed board designs, selection of PCB materials with expertise in defining the stack-ups, routing guidelines etc.
- PCIe, SATA, CPU based designs, DDR4/5/6, 100G/400G/800G interfaces, SONET/SDH,DWDM, OTN, ETHERNET.
- Strong understanding of OTN/ETHERNET technologies, optical transponders, muxponders, ADD/DROP Muxes, Network Synchronization 1588V2 PTP, SyncE, etc.

Responsibilities

- System Architecture & Design: Define hardware architecture, create high-level designs (HLD), and perform component selection (ASIC, FPGA, CPU, Optics) for OTN, WDM, and SDN-integrated platforms.
- Board Design & Implementation: Perform schematic capture, manage PCB layout guidelines for high-speed signals, and ensure signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI).
- Board Bring-up & Validation: Lead laboratory bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototype boards using high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Software (drivers/firmware), Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Provide technical support throughout the product development cycle, from concept to mass production and field troubleshooting.

Qualifications

- Experience: 12+ years of hardware developments in the telecom, networking, or optical transport industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
