About the RoleBarbarik Urban Greens is looking for an experienced Manager – Finance & Compliance to take ownership of the company’s financial operations, project finance, MIS, taxation, and statutory compliance.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a traditional back-office position. The candidate will work closely with the founders and take end-to-end responsibility for financial controls, investor fund tracking, project-wise reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day financial operations and accounting for the organization.
- Prepare and manage project-wise MIS, financial reports, cash-flow statements, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Track investor funds, capital contributions, utilization, and project-wise deployment.
- Monitor project-level costs, revenues, receivables, payables, and profitability.
- Manage GST, TDS, income-tax and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure RERA-related financial and regulatory compliance for real-estate projects.
- Oversee accounting and reporting through Tally.
- Establish robust financial controls, processes, documentation, and reconciliation systems.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, banks, and other external stakeholders.




- Support management with financial analysis, business planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
- Monitor statutory filing timelines and ensure timely compliance.
- Identify financial/compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate project-wise books and supporting documentation.
- Provide founders with timely financial dashboards and management insights.

Required Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in finance/accounts, preferably within real estate or construction.
- Strong knowledge of real-estate/project accounting.
- Hands-on understanding of GST, TDS, RERA and statutory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally.
- Experience in project-wise MIS and financial reporting.
- Experience handling investor funds and project cash flows.
- Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, audit, and financial controls.
- Ability to independently build and manage finance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with founders and senior management.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-growing environment.
