Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring health conditions, assisting physicians, and educating patients and their families. The Staff Nurse ensures secure, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes promptly.
Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies.




Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
Comply with hospital policies, nursing standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Valid nursing license/registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred, depending on department).
Relevant clinical experience preferred.
