EDUCATION
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline CERTIFICATIONS

Software development experience




Experience with at least one contemporary language such as Java, Python, C++, or C# including object-oriented design of programming experience in a up-to-date language such as Java, Python, C#
Experience with web technologies: Restful Services, Microservices, JavaScript
Experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Exposure to writing structured query language (SQL) and analyzing retrieved data
Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and basic shell programming
Experience with Core Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, JPA)
Experience with data structures and software design patterns
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server
Financial services experience a plus FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Comfortable in more than one programming language, with a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies
