Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based software applications and platform components.
- Develop and enhance Linux kernel modules, device drivers, and system services as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, kernel, and system-level issues.
- Analyze system performance and implement optimization solutions.
- Develop automation scripts for build, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design activities.
- Support software integration, validation, and product releases.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Linux software development.
- Solid programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with Linux user-space and system programming.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system concepts and internals.
- Experience with multi-threading, IPC mechanisms, and networking.
- Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools.
- Experience using Git and build systems such as Make, CMake, or Yocto.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux kernel development and device driver programming.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux, Yocto, Buildroot, and BSP customization.
- Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and SSH.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
