Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Web UI Automation Tester to architect, build, and maintain our enterprise grade Web UI test automation framework. In this role, you will take ownership of the full test lifecycle—from establishing framework architecture, test plans, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to executing automated tests and delivering rich, actionable visual reports.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Python and Robot Framework, combined with Selenium browser automation. You will lead the adoption of AI driven quality engineering by leveraging GitHub Copilot with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for smart element locators, automated test script generation, robust test data management, and visual reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Framework Architecture & Technical Leadership
- UI Automation Framework Development: Design, scale, and maintain a robust, modular Web UI test automation framework using Python and Robot Framework.
- AI Enhanced Automation with Copilot & MCP: Utilize GitHub Copilot MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrated with Selenium to auto generate resilient page objects, optimize element locator strategies, and repair flaky test scripts dynamically.
- Browser Automation & Cross Browser Testing: Implement multi browser and multi device automation strategies using Selenium WebDriver across modern Web platforms (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
- Test Data Handlers & Strategy: Build agile Test Data Handlers to supply parameterized, clean, and isolated test datasets across non production environments.
- Test Planning, Strategy & Requirement Traceability
- End to End Test Strategy: Author comprehensive Test Plans and strategies covering functional UI testing, cross browser compatibility, web accessibility, and regression cycles.
- Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM):



Create and maintain a strict Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking business requirements and UI user stories directly to Robot Framework test suites and automated test cases.
- CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Seamlessly integrate test suites into DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automated regression gates on pull requests and deployments.
- Execution, Reporting & Defect Management
- Rich Reporting & Visual Analytics: Implement and configure Rich HTML Reports and dashboards (including automated screenshot capturing on failure, step by step logs, execution metrics, and trend analysis).
- Execution Orchestration: Manage parallel test execution and suite tagging to enable fast, targeted execution runs across staging and pre production environments.
- Triage & Leadership: Lead defect triage, mentor quality engineers in automation best practices, and collaborate closely with Frontend Developers and Product Owners to ensure high release quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Competencies

- Core Frameworks: Expert proficiency in Python and Robot Framework for web application testing.
- Web Automation: In depth experience with Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model (POM) architectural design patterns.
- AI Assisted Testing: Hands on experience using GitHub Copilot and MCP (Model Context Protocol) plugins to accelerate script development and locator strategies.
- Test Data Management: Proven ability to build specialized Test Data Handlers (JSON/YAML/Excel/Database driven test data feeders).
- Reporting Tools: Experience setting up Rich Reports (e.g., Robot Framework HTML reports, Allure, custom dashboard integrations).
- Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3,



DOM manipulation, XPath, CSS selectors, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).

Professional Experience & Soft Skills

- Experience: 7+ years in Quality Assurance / Software Automation, with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership capacity for Web UI automation.
- QA Process Mastery: Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC, including Test Plan authoring, RTM management, and defect tracking (Jira/Azure DevOps).
- Communication: Outstanding collaboration skills to bridge technical delivery teams and non technical business stakeholders.
